Brandt Snedeker Driver Swing Analysis

Brandt Snedeker has a great golf game, but he sometimes struggles with driving accuracy.  At the Sony Open in Hawaii, an errant tee shot cost him a big pay check and early 2016 victory.  So, what goes wrong for Brandt off the tee box?  Currently 214th on the PGA tour in driving accuracy, see what you can learn from his simple swing flaw with the driver.

Driver accuracy can usually be fixed with two key checkpoints:

  1. The first driver setup and driver swing checkpoint is your tush line.  The tush line is a key factor in keeping your spine angle correct during the golf swing.  If you do not keep you hips against the tush line, you can lose the correct swing plane.
  2. The second driver golf swing checkpoint lies with your right foot position.  If you find yourself up on your right toe, remember that this golf swing position will cause you to lose driving distance and accuracy.
