Solid Ball Striking at Gypsum Creek Golf Course

I joined Rotary Swing in October of 2019 after watching every free YouTube video Chuck ever posted. Since joining I've been working my way through the Dead Drill and the rest of the videos including Chuck's online lessons with students.
I have not participated in a Boot Camp or uploaded any of my swings for analysis (waiting until I have the perfect swing). I have also not been diligent uploading my swing repetitions to the website, although I've performed the repetitions.
I expect all the above may give Chuck heartburn. But the success is real. Watching Chuck in a teaching video with a student recently, I realized how the "post up" move works. Nothing specific just a sudden moment of insight and discovery. I had watch the instructional videos previously but for some reason I just did not get it.
Played the next day and struck the ball better than anytime in my life. I've been a student of the game for 40 years (off and on) but this was my best ball striking ever. Effortless with more distance; had to club down in a few situations. I still need more repetitions to improve my timing and consistency but everything seemed to come together without any swing thoughts. I am sure there will be days when I revert to my old habits and will need to return to the Rotary Swing fundamentals. The good news is I know how to change swing flaws during a round of golf.
I am 70 years old with two hip replacements and I'm tall (6' 6") which in the past has made it difficult for me get "down" to the ball. The "post up" move works for me in that it helps get the club down and out for a clean ball strike. A smaller, but maybe significant thing, is that the "post up" move seems to help me complete the hip turn in the downswing.
In summary, thank you Chuck. Each time I hit a good shot, I say "thank you Chuck Quinton" to my playing partners. Golf (except for my putting) has never been more enjoyable for me.
