Craig, after keeping my head still, taking the club straight back and.

Hi Craig, after keeping my head still, taking the club straight back and getting the weight forward on the downswing I still had a nightmare round of 110 today. I thought those days were over. Despite getting into the correct positions after another week of hard practice most of my shots were clunky, short and left with a few pushes to the right. On a lot of the shots I could tell that the club face was turning at impact despite not manipulating my hands but I persevered to no avail. Luckily my short game wasn't too bad and saved another ten shots. The fun has totally gone from the game for me for a while now and I can't think of what is left to try to get some sort of form. It may be time to throw the towel in I'm afraid.

Maybe ???? you should lay off the tech thinking when playing or only have one swing thought when playing. Being process driven on the course is important if you have made loads of technical changes ignore the score you will improve. How many reps do you do per week
Hello Lee. The arms are more in sync than they were as we talked about in the last review. Unfortunately, I know this pains you to read this, but I do look at a ton of swings everyday and this isn't a 110 type of move. Yes, some of the excessive lateral motion and hip motion (more specifically trail leg) needs to be cleaned up. But, I can see you have worked hard since the last time we spoke. You need to get back to feeling the club/shot. You are a lost in the mechanic weeds. I know you like better the lead side motion because it matches your pattern better. But, for example using the GOAT release and focus on making some simpler movements patterns allowing the body to react may be your best bet. You need to feel the clubface again and understand how the release should feel. If you focus on release and work a little backwards with the calmer body there isn't any reason you shouldn't hit a higher percentage of quality shots. You can also stay with lead side if you would like and I can guide you through that as well. Anytime I feel lost I always dumb it down and focus on the only thing that really matters which is impact. Impact and getting the release back first because if you don't have those it's easy to fall into a endless loop of frustration.
