Rotary instructors I’ve been doing a lot of golf practice and I have seen.

Hello Rotary instructors I’ve been doing a lot of golf practice and I have seen massive results especially with my iron play I’m getting very consistent at hitting more greens and my GIR rate is increasing so thanks. However at 50 years old my body is feeling it I get your system is stress free but at 50 years old and sitting at a desk all day you feel it I’m just not 21 anymore. So I was thinking of doing less reps and shorter sessions. My work load is high at the moment so sat at my desk for more hours than usual I am feeling it anyways when it’s like that even without golf! So I have decided to put together a system to incorporate practice and stretching. My right hip is sore from over use as I never loaded my right glute before it is not injured my back is sore from being 50 and bad posture at my desk for years any golf aches are from use not damage. So reps are important for feel and building technique and I want to practice one hour a day. So maybe 50 full swings and 50 putts per day and drills if possible subject to weather and stretching what do you think? Someone told me practice for just 15 minutes a day I’m not sure that’s enough to get to scratch in five years currently 16 handicap what do you think would be a good amount of reps per day at my age

Hello Ronald. The goal is typically a 100 reps to start to make a movement pattern change. Agreed. Practice efficiently. Quality reps but with just enough quantity. Correct practice swings count. Hyper focus and quality movements for each rep will aid you on your journey.
