I have a question about the release, specifically for hitting a fade.

I have a question about the release, specifically for hitting a fade. I feel pretty comfortable holding off the release, but this feels like somewhat of a flip to me as the lead wrist breaks down. Should the wrist still be flat when hitting a fade or is it okay for it to break down a bit? Like with the ripper chip, the lead wrist breaks down in order to keep an open-face angle to generate that cut spin.

Hello Colton. The lead wrist shouldn't be breaking down, nor hitting it with a scoop/flip type motion. The wrists will be roughly the same. You will be swinging a little bit steeper coming down and a little across with the trail hand.
