I have been a member for years and enjoy the learning even though my handicap keeps going up a little each year . I think this is due to age more than talent. Since I’m almost 80 (7 handicap) I wonder if it’s worth it to try switching to trail side dominant after being lead side for60 years. What is your suggestion? It would be helpful to know what lessons apply to each approach. To

Hello Thomas. Some of our older students have enjoyed switching to trail side because it can provide more power. As we age we all know that tends to slip away every day. The learning curve shouldn't be near as hard as lead side since it is your more intuitive side or actual dominant side. I would start with the trail hand only chipping. Just give a go for a couple sessions. You will know if it's for you or not.
