I'm a bit confused about the swing.

I'm a bit confused about the swing. The beginning lessons tend to discuss throwing the club as the main feel, but the emphasis switches to using the core to hit the ball by the end of the GOAT Code. It seems like this contradicts the videos "Widen the Lead Wrist" and "Widen the Trail Wrist" under the Trail Side Dominance section in the Goat Code folder where Chuck discusses that it's a very handsy swing. Now, I'm wondering: should I focus on widening the angles of my wrists at the top of the swing to throw it, or do I need to focus on the core and let the hands act more passively? Which should be my focus, and which one happens naturally depending on the feel? Also, something else I have been confused about for a long time is the Trail Side and Lead Side sections of the program. The GOAT Code exists under Trail Side, but then the entire C4 program is Lead Side. Is the C4 program a lead side swing and different from the GOAT code?

Hello Colton. C4 and GOAT are completely different (lead vs trail side pattern). These don't intertwine. The throw movement is certainly in the swing. However, we noticed players would not allow their core to move or react as in a throwing pattern so we needed to start with the basics. Train the core first and as you build the engine of the swing the throwing pattern will come more into the picture as you develop speed.
