Hi, new member. In watching a video on the release Chuck talks about letting the left wrist break or cup at the ball. I’ve spent the last several years trying to not let this happen, but the results on the range have been astounding. My guess is that my core firing and subsequent rotation makes this only feel like my left wrist is breaking at the ball while in reality it is happening after the ball has been sent. Am I right?

Hello Andrew. Correct. You want the lead wrist flat at impact. But you don't force it. The conveyor belt type release allows you to move through the position at impact with lots of speed and it will break down a bit more after the strike.
