I just watched the goat power sequence, and in the video, it takes you through.

I just watched the goat power sequence, and in the video, it takes you through the small step to the right side, and shift to the left side. Tour players according to Check is 90% of their weight at impact is on the lead foot at impact. Now on the goat drill, it says you don't want to shift to the lead foot as it will make it difficult to open the hips at impact. Also, the power sequence feels like you're not releasing the club having elbow joint feeling like it's pointing away from your chest. This is contradictory with the whip effect/conveyor belt. What am I missing?

Hello John. The elbow pit is still pointed away and you won't go into pronation until the club is released (conveyor). The release is the same movement. Your pressure will shift to your lead side. Chuck is referring to most people dive all of the weight into their leg leg and they don't have the ability to get it posted. Heavy lead leg syndrome. The pressure movement on the leg leg is quick/tight. You are shifting pressure not trying to move tons of mass.
