I’ve been having this thought lately.

I’ve been having this thought lately. I’m left handed and golf right. Being that my dominant hand isn’t my right, would you suppose that a trailside pattern wouldn’t be ideal for me? For example doing 1 handed chipping and pitching drills, at least moving the club because i dont have lefty clubs, is much easier.. Just curious if maybe its a waste of time for me to steer away from my lead(and dominant) side.

Hello Seth. That's just a tough call. I am a right handed player/swinger. But, I swing lead side dominant because my trail side was over active. Both sides have a role in the swing. If your dominant arm works for you then you can keep making precision cuts to the swing to perfect the motion. Think about it this way though. Would some nip/tuck in current swing make big leaps and bounds in progression or just a few shots here and there. If you tend to lack power you more than likely aren't transferring enough juice from trail side. The choice is yours for sure. But, I can't fully answer that because I don't know where you are lacking in the game. Also, I haven't seen your swing (you can post here) which may tell me a different story on which way to guide you.
