I'm having a case of the heel hosel shanks when trying my 80 Yard wedge shots.

I'm having a case of the heel hosel shanks when trying my 80 Yard wedge shots. I'm fine with the short chips, 20, and 40 including right hand only chips. Once I move to 80 yard pitch shots, I can do a couple fine and then everything starts to shank. When I put a head cover down, I can fix it... So what am I doing wrong here

At setup your weight tends to be towards your heels and chin tucked into the chest. So, you end up moving a bit towards the ball in the downswing which leads you to stuck having to release trail hand too soon. The arms get a hair deep going to the top. Fix the setup (chin - weight balance 50/50). Keep the arms more in front of the chest back. Create more hip depth in transition for space so trail arm doesn't release too soon.
