I've been working on getting to the GDP for a fer weeks now and at times I'm hitting it longer and straighter than I have in the past, however, I am also hitting a lot of blocks but hitting them solid. I'm not sure if that's because my grip is too strong, therefor delivering the face open, or if it's because I'm not being aggressive enough with my trail hand, leaving the face open? Maybe it's both? I've tried a strong grip and a less strong grip and the result seems to be no different. Maybe I just answered my own question? Maybe I'm too passive with my trail hand and arm?

Hello Dan. Could be the grip, or the shoulders. I tend to see the grip being too weak in the trail hand but also pushing/spinning the shoulders through which will delay that face rotation.
