Hello Craig, How do I progress from hitting controlled arround the face to the center of the face? You mentioned I am rotating the face downward (which caused the divot). I don't quite understood what I did wrong and how I can correct the movement. Could you kindly explain again. Greetings from Finland, Jayden

Hello Jayden. Now do the same thing. Use some tape or foot spray. Start seeing how many times you can hit the center of the face. If you know the feeling of how to hit the toe you should have awareness the adjustment to get it to center. You may need some mechanical adjustments but you can do the same putting tee drill with and iron. You don't need to be as tight with teh iron as the tees are with the putter. Your tendency is to start rotating the face down or squaring early in the chip which delofts the club. You need to feel like the blade slide more underneath. Remember the chip doesn't require a lot of face rotation early to yield square.
