Craig, I hope you had a great summer.

Hello Craig, I hope you had a great summer. What did you get do? After a nice vocation in Finland playing Golf for the first time in a contry outside of Germany and having to register as member in a club to particpate in the club championship I ended up winning it. Also, I had the hounor to play with a boy arround my age he tolled me he only played golf for one year. His HCP is 12 and his game vary good for the short amound of time. That got me thinking how could he excell that fast. I think he has a mindset of he can only improve. I want to have a mindset that allows me to excell and I want to play fearless. But alsow I  am asking  my self how should I deal with bad shots, how can I learn from them? Best wishes, Jayden.

Hello Jayden. Congrats on the win. Bad shots are going to happen. In fact golf is really a game of misses because you rarely hit it exactly how you want to. Chart what happens on your misses. Left, right, high, low, short, long, etc. When they tend to happen? Mid-irons, short irons, early or late in the round. That way you can study where in the round your misses tend to show up and how to improve upon them. The best way to deal with a bad shot is to realize one shot doesn't make a round. One bad shot doesn't define the score.
