According to GOATY, “As you reach the top of your backswing, your body finishes.

According to GOATY, “As you reach the top of your backswing, your body finishes its lengthening too soon, which means the diagonal oblique slings don't get fully stretched…. On your next swing, as you reach the top, focus on keeping your lead arm stiff and your trail arm supinated. Feel like your trail hip is still moving deeper, and your belly stays open for just a split second longer.” I can’t seem to get past this. Any video examples, other ways to describe the proper movement, etc?

Hello John. Your weight falls to the lead side too soon and the shoulder plane flattens out early. Get more weight when loading into the trail side and leave it there longer. Get the shoulder plane steeper and arms more in front so you get a better stretch at the top.
