I am a 76 YO male (current index around 10) and I have kind of nuked my trail.

I am a 76 YO male (current index around 10) and I have kind of nuked my trail shoulder rotator cuff (2 of 4 tendons severed and unrepairable). So I am now on a rehab path to see how far I can get without surgery. Reverse Total Shoulder Replacements have real limitations WRT golf and that is my only alternative. It is going to be best case a couple months before I can take a full swing so this would seem to be a great time (can only do drills and have no idea what my 'swing' is right now) to try to find some swing efficiencies to compensate for the distance loss that is inevitable here. So I signed up. My inclination is to just start on Phase 1 of the GOAT code but I would be interested in comments from folks who understand this program better than I do.

Hello David. It all depends on the trail shoulder. My trail shoulder is a complete mess. C4/Lead Side match me better because I can take it basically out of the equation. That being said the legs/core do the vast majority of work in a trial side pattern (GOAT Code). If you trail scapula can move correctly (down and in towards the spin without pain) GOAT should be fine to start with short game. But, the question really comes down to physical limitations with trail. How much or little.
