Craig, I’ve been practicing the gdp and release and feel my left shoulder.

Hey Craig, I’ve been practicing the gdp and release and feel my left shoulder feels retracted like tucked into my spine when I release. When i pause in the full release position with the club my shoulder feels tight against my spine… is that right or should it be more fully stretched out? Without the right hand on the club it feels more extended but when my hand is reaching in the release it tends to keep that left shoulder tucked into my spine in the release.

Hello Nathan. The lead shoulder should have some protraction and not retracting towards the spine in release or you have to change the feel/how you pivot like in the How the GOATs Trained their Lead Hand Video.
