Lead-Side vs Trail-Side (for ages 50+)

A little about me, I am 50 years old, around 6'-1" and 220lbs. I have unusually long arms which makes my longer clubs (driver specifically) a challenge. I am ready to commit to one of these programs but I have always been a trail side dominate player, which has not necessarily been good. However, when I focus on the lead side, my swing feels longer, more fluid, easier, and I have hit some of the best shots of my life recently. Now that I am over a half-century, I am most worried about simply staying healthy. My question, which swing (lead-side vs trail-side) puts the least amount of stress on the body for those of us 50+

Hello Justin. Both have pros and cons. Each side still has a role in the swing regardless of which one you pick. If you are trail side dominant it may be quicker to refine how you use the trail side and get some lead side control versus completely rebuilding from the lead side. I prefer lead side (so I'm a little biased  ) but that could be a very long journey for you. You can always add more lead side components as the swing gets longer.
