I have made some drastic changes with just a few days of practicing this technique. I do realize I have lots of room for improvement and will continue, but I have a question on where to start the feel if I add back a more traditional takeaway. As you can see on the video I am still doing an air guitar movement that creates an elliptical takeaway path. If I went back to a more normal movement in the takeaway, would I want the weight to have moved around my foot to about the heel when I am at the top and then let the merry go round continue as I allow the clockwise motion of the downswing to start? I think that is what I am seeing in the Justin Rose Video, but thought I would check in to be sure.

Hi David, yep exactly, when you are nearing the top you want the weight to be moving from the heel towards the forward part of the foot to start getting off the merry go round so start the shallowing move in the arms. Looks like from the video, you need to focus on the leg work a little more and really try getting the weight back to 6:00 as you are moving into the backswing and then off the merry go round sooner. Hope that helps.
