So i have been persevering with my training.

So i have been persevering with my training. One comment that I keep getting is that I am overswinging. My rotation is good and I am not pushing with the left arm. The problem I think is that my wrists are too soft and the weight of the club forces my wrists to collapse. Would i be correct in assuming that the wrists are slightly more rigid on the backswing to prevent this and then soften during the transition

Hello Jonathan. Nothing should be overly rigid, or locked. How much is your trail arm bending? If you maintain less than 90 degrees of flexion and some external humeral rotation it will be hard to overswing. See below.
