Guys, question about my Lead arm.

Hey guys, question about my Lead arm. I'm on step 4 and struggling with getting my lead arm past 90, Craig Morrow says I have tension in the Left shoulder but yet wants me to raise lead arm more ( beyond 90).. BUT He does say that shoulder elevation is relative. But every time I try to raise my lead arm higher at the top of my backswing I have a hard time doing it.. My tension seems to increase... what am I doing wrong.. I thought maybe I am not rotating enough but It seems pretty good.. ... I just the saw video of L. shoulder in the back swing and Chuck talks about the L shoulder blade moving forward on my backswing and seems to me that maybe I am not doing that .. going to try on work on it... I don't know any help would be great...

Hello Nick. Take a look at Proper Muscle Activation Video. Yes. Elevation is variable. If you like it in the lower position. No worries. Don't stress about getting extra motion if it is uncomfortable.
