Chuck - I am a long time fan and infrequent poster in any forum but still I wanted to offer my feedback about this radical re-thinking of the golf swing. Your insight that all of the motion of a golf swing is actually going in one direction ("clockwise"), that alone, should get you in the hall of fame. The idea of the release being anti-clockwise is such a concise description of what we are trying to achieve that the vote for HOF could be unanimous. I practiced in the safety of my garage for about a half hour and then went to the range. Here are my insights. The idea of continuing to allow the pressure on my right foot go from 6 to 7, then 8, etc. and THEN get off the merry-go-round eliminated a long term lingering tendency for early extension combined with a slight over-the-top move in my swing and got the club coming from the inside with lag and pace. I also discovered AXIOM gave me the ability to synch-up my swing by simply being aware of where the club was in relation to the location of the pressure was on my right foot. On a final note, the Left or Right video was concise and so helpful. I now see that I have been blending the releases and therefore suffering very mixed results.
