🔗 Why your left arm bends
Keep the trail arm straight
Karen, The main cause of bending the lead arm too much, is overbending the trail arm. Focusing on keeping the lead arm straight doesn't work because the trail arm is the culprit. The trail arm is your dominant arm and because it is supposed to bend in the backswing it has way more leverage than the lead arm, so overbending it causes the lead arm to fold. Concentrate on keeping your TRAIL arm straighter, longer, and this should correct the problem. Be sure to practice this facing a mirror so you can check. Good luck, Mike B
