Chris/Craig, Yesterday I posted my shank swing.

Hey Chris/Craig, Yesterday I posted my shank swing. Today I did some reps working on what Chris said (the 4 square drill + more wrist cock) and I am thrilled to say I had the best training session of the winter! I took a look at my swing at the end of my session and I noticed I’m a bit above the elbow plane line now. My question is: what do I need to do to get right on plane with this new adjustment? Just a little more rotation in the backswing? Thanks for everything!

Hi Brandon, My wife says she loves the winter hat! Looking at the video, you are overcooking the arms staying out in front during the takeaway into the backswing. Which is not allowing for you your create enough depth to swing on a much shallower swing plane. You want to make sure your arms are being mostly moved by your body turn to the top of the swing so you don’t have to rely on any sort of plane shift to get it back on track. I’d work on getting less arm movement from the get go with this camera angle and then let’s see what it looks like on the way down. Ct.
