For anyone that is interested, I have found a ton of value in the book Be a Player by Pia Nilsson and Lynn Marriott. The book is all about incorporating mindful awareness into your game to help you identify the "feels" that unlock your best swings. It's about learning to have an external focus of attention during your swing. There is no swing instruction in the book, so it's a great complement to learning the Rotary Swing. Many of us at Rotary Swing (myself included) tend to get deep into the weeds of the golf swing. I love the details of the swing and the technical learning and practice on this site. Yet on the course, we'll short-circuit if we try to think about every aspect of the swing; so, we just have to find our swing for that day and trust that our hard work and practice of the Rotary Swing method is doing its thing. And that's what Be a Player is all about - learning to find your (rotary) swing that day. It's been super valuable to me and I think it's the perfect complement to Rotary Swing so I wanted to share.
