Had a difficult 3 rounds this week.

Had a difficult 3 rounds this week. My old but vaguely functioning swing had gone and I was failing to release the club even on PW and 9 iron stock shots that I can play well. Topping the ball etc, only the occasional good one, very frustrating. I have come to the conclusion that the club is too heavy to learn Axiom with, so did a bit of googling and managed to calculate the swing weight of my club set as 243 (inch ounces) using the calculator at http://golf.okrasa.eu/clubs/swingweight-en/sw-measurement/ Bear with me! I then improvised a lighter club at 60% of that swing weight i.e. 148 and have used that today to practice Axiom with much better results. The plan is to gradually increase the weight as I get the movement down. I had been swinging the improvised club a bit before I did the videos, but first of all here is my 'best current swing' i.e. what I've had for quite a few months now.

And here is me again the same day (today) trying to use the Axiom movement. I think it looks better.
