This is more an instructor question and hope for some feedback from other instructors. In my face to face instruction with students teaching Axiom I notice that all of them find it a very natural movement and pick it up quick. There are some student who find it more difficult to keep focus on that (very small) movement in foot. To help them I asked them to move the focus to the rear knee and make a small clockwise circle with the knee. That makes it easier for them to carry out the axiom. I have feeling that, because the movement in knee is little bigger, this makes it easier for them. My question now is: is this a good way to help those golfers or does it have negative effects doing it this way?

The main drawback is the knee isn't the primary generator of the movement. It may feel easier but it doesn't force the pressure change. You need to create the orbit from the foot for the magic to happen. You can get the knee moving too independently like Elvis.
