Coach Craig, Following our last lesson review, I have been getting some hip.

Hey Coach Craig, Following our last lesson review, I have been getting some hip pain over the past few months. (Post-up move). Would these positions explain this issue? Kindest regards, Chris D

Hi Chris, Chris here. Craig is away for a few days. If you are getting some lead side hip pain, then double check that you are in NJA (neutral joint alignment) at impact first and foremost, then also watch very closely in transition that you aren't getting shoved too far to the lead side laterally and then scrambling to correct before impact. That can put a ton of stress on the hip girdle. Otherwise, yes a solid post up move into NJA should help you keep things safe for sure. Hope that helps. Ct
