In the link video, he is suggesting that golf road path is from slicing, hooking to good golf. No one goes from slicing to good golf. Seems like I need to learn how to hook the ball first to be a good golfer which does not make sense to me :) Any thoughts?

I have my thoughts on the Haney approach. Just watch the older Hank Haney Projects............ The message he is trying to convey is that slicers typically need to feel the over cooking or squaring of the face from and inside path to start correcting their old movement pattern. While it may help to learn the opposite feel you don't have to become a hooker ;).
