This is regarding the penetrating wedge shot video.

This is regarding the penetrating wedge shot video. Seems like the shot Chuck demonstrates is pretty much a right side/push release for this scenario. Chuck/Craig/Chris - Is this a valid observation? I use a lead side release for my full shots and would like advice on whether I should try to tone-down my lead side release for this type of shot so I keep just one type of release or adapt more of a push release to control distance and trajectory on the scoring shots. Hello Tom. The penetrating wedge shot video is more a lead release, but quieter (arms/hands) and squaring it up more with the chest. I use lead release for penetrating wedge. Just quieter hands and I allow the chest to help square the face. Like a Body Release vs Arms.
