2 questions about the swing : a.

Hi , 2 questions about the swing : a. should the arms be connected to the pectoralis muscles in the set up and during the swing ? b. should you lift the left arm (or both arms) actively any time during the back swing or should the arms be swung passively. I noticed that if I do not do anything with the arms , they are very low. It seems that there are contradictions between the "dead arms swing" and the RST swing , it is very confusing.

The arms will rest just on top off and the sides of the pectorals. Not placed directly on top where you would have to squeeze arms too close together. You will feel a connection between upper bicep and pectorals. You will need a little shoulder elevation in the swing and momentum will help generate that for you.
