I think i might have had an aha moment but want an opinion on it.

I think i might have had an aha moment but want an opinion on it. One of my struggles is often that i slide and lack rotation in the downswing. And the idea of squatting to square to be in a solid position to rotate and extend from has often felt very counterproductive and like I have to make a reroute midswing. Was messing around a bit with different alignments at the top of my backswing today to see if I could get into a position where it made sense to have the movement pattern Chuck often describes. What I stumbled upon was that the more i let my pelvic center move away from the target line, the more i got the feeling that I could generate speed towards the ball through squatting, very much due to my butt feeling like it was behind the heel line, i sort of felt that squatting was the only way to generate force from the ground in that position. Have i perhaps stumbled upon something or is this a atep in the wrong direction?

Hello Jens. Sounds like you are moving away from the ball. You should always be moving in the opposite direction of the club. Your thoughts don't bother me about the tush.
