Craig, follow-up on thoughts on Mikkos lesson.

Craig, follow-up on thoughts on Mikkos lesson. So if im not gauging power from the hip socket tensing the system up it feels like I get a clear cap on possible speed i can generate from just the core axiom motion. I am currently experimenting a bit with feeling like I use both legs more actively to aid in opening up and propelling that motion by feeling like I jump into the impact position to also aid with the extension. On vacation so unable to check what results are with a launchmontior, wanted your opinion on if my thought process on how to build on the axiom motion for aditional speed is just way off or if experimenting with this could put me on the right path of improving further. A feeling i am working on pinning down and eradicating from my swing is the tensing of the hip which seems to be key to me moving up into hyper extension and also slide/early extension, so far it feels like if i am just not "gripping" at the hip socket to extend up (which seem to never be up, just into the ball) the motion seems to work.

Without seeing it tough to tell. The notes don't sound all that bad. You can only get some much from legs/core, etc. So, you may feel some capping from the midsection. But, leverage (wrists) etc will help add those other little bits of juice. The thing I like is you brain is about monitoring the tension and making the movement fluid/less chunked.
