My problem has been a flat backswing turn where for years I tried to turn my left shoulder down. While I tried it never worked. So I remembered that Chuck said to pull the right shoulder blade back and what do you know the left shoulder goes down and the right shoulder goes up. I also am shifting pressure on my trail foot in a clockwise motion and rotating my right arm in a clockwise motion although my timing needs to improve. All of this puts me generally in a good position at the top, but then I find myself wanting to hit and I make a flat turn on the downswing (start my downswing with my arms---not using my legs) and losing all my angles. One thing that I am trying is to add some right lateral bend on the downswing which compresses my right side and lowers my body more toward the ground. I also find that my trail leg moves after I hit and that I cannot push off the ground. What else can I do to start swing from the ground up? Thanks.

Hello Robert. Take a look at Lead Arm Two Club Drill. The added weight will help you move the legs first without too much mechanical thought.
