I was always a big Hale Irwin fan, but I'm not happy how much my impact looks.

I was always a big Hale Irwin fan, but I'm not happy how much my impact looks like this old school position. I tend to hit shots that are too high, and come up too short. Straight drives, weak irons characterize my game. I can see how my left foot roles out more than Hale's, and I add much more dynamic loft. The pressure on my short game is extraordinary, some times. The other day, I was watching the University of Pennsylvania golf team, including the son of one Bernhard Langer. They practice at my course. Those guys were launching driving irons from the tips out to where our scratch players hit driver. Unreal to see how everyone of them posts up and releases the club. Thanks to Craig Morrow, I'm on top of these flaws now and I should be producing something better soon. I hit one or two shots like that yesterday. Next stop, more penetrating ball flight and the chance at some decent scores again.

Great Dave. Looking forward to seeing the progress. Already starting to understand better how to move that body!
