I just signed up for the Axiom program so this is my first post here. I'm hoping I can finally overcome my long-time over the top and early extension issues through these videos and instruction. One question as I'm getting started - should I be hitting balls as I begin working through the Axiom videos or should I focus on swing feels (with and without a club) first and not try to hit balls yet. Hi Robert, It’s always best to start our working on the movements and developing the proper feels first. Then back check it periodically on camera to see how things are looking. Challenge yourself to add the ball back in slowly but stay super committed to the body movements and try and let the ball get in the way of your movements. Check to see how close your practice swings vs. golf ball swings are. Then lather rinse repeat. Hope that helps.
Hello Robert. If you start getting the movement down without a ball/practice swing. You can test yourself with a ball to see how much repping you really need. Usually, at minimum 5 practice swing per shot. But, you should be able to start seeing some changes on the sooner side for sure.
