For the review; I've gone over the lessons and am working on the right.

Thanks for the review; I've gone over the lessons and am working on the right hand only as suggested. It seems that my hips get around a bit better, but the club still seems to have the same flip. I'm not sure how to get moving in the right direction for a good release. I keep trying to squat to square or run the merry go round; I don't know if it's mental or physical problem that is keeping me from getting to the correct position. But my sense if that just continuing to practice this move won't help me. Kind of frustrating.

Hi Jon I've also been struggling to get the arms moving clockwise, especially my right arm, to get the Axiom movement. working correctly. I've come to the conclusion that when you understand what you're trying to do and it just isn't working despite practice then something earlier on in the movement is stopping you. We know we have to get the kinetic sequence right, and I think we can all use Axiom to help us to find it. The right arm needs to stay closer to the body rather than swinging out wide. I've been working on this recently and when I engage my lats to keep my right arm more anchored then I can do right arm only swings that shallow out nicely. I used to suffer from flying right elbow and I tamed that, but was still letting my right arm swing out too much and thereby become dominant. With the Driver I could not avoid coming over the top and was just about managing to keep control with the shortest irons. It was very frustrating and I still have some way to go, but I feel I am now on the right track. Hope this helps. Diane
Hello Jon. 3 Items: 1) Take normal setup ( a little tall and not in golf posture). 2) Focus on the trail foot. You need to get the orbit moving around so you don't force so much from the top. This will help with hips/tush. 3) More clockwise. You are still coming down steeply. Keep the arm in front going back. Don't let it get too deep. That way you can continue clockwise shallowing of the club. You are just hitting it too much from the top.
