At the 14:44 mark of "How Tiger, Rory and Ernie use their hips" video, Chuck is.

At the 14:44 mark of "How Tiger, Rory and Ernie use their hips" video, Chuck is using the chair to demonstrate hip movement and when his hands are about 1/2 way back he illustrates that some of his weight is shifted forward by virtue of his hip turn. This movement then makes his transition easier. Question: in other videos utilizing the chair drill, Chuck has indicated that your hips should appear (from F.O.) as though they have not really moved away from their original position in your backswing. Please elaborate on this for me. Thanks.

Hello Roy. Your center mass will start to shift slightly sooner. You need to maintain trail hip line, but more advanced players will start shifting slightly sooner before the backswing is completed. Shifting slightly early versus reverse hip shift are two different things.
