In a swing review I had with Craig, he talked about static loading of the right.

In a swing review I had with Craig, he talked about static loading of the right leg and trying to prevent that hip from locking during rotation in the backswing. Craig, can you explain this a little bit more? You pointed out these faults in the review but it wasn't apparent to me where I was locking or what was remaining static. If you could help me understand more what non-static loading and what a non-locking hip should look like I think that will help. Thanks for everything!

Hello Erik. Absolutely. In those shorter versions you were doing pretty well, but you have to make sure the hip rotates. Some players load/lock the hip. Pressure and weight is increased, but knee flexion and rotation are stalled out too soon. I think the Live Lesson will be more valuable on this topic.
