Question - I was hitting a few balls after playing last night, and tried concentrating on getting my hand-path closer to my body on the downswing. Almost instantly, I was roughly 1 club longer. Where I had been hitting a 6 iron, I was now able to hit a 7 iron. Trajectory was lower, and even though the ball was not struck purely, it did fly as far as the 6-iron that was struck well. It was too dark to video so I could not have a look. Could this make a difference, or am I just being optimistic?

Hello Gerald. It may have made a difference because the hand path could be matching more of a clockwise movement and you are using the angles more efficiently. Tough to tell without video.
