I have a question about developing a left side dominant swing.

I have a question about developing a left side dominant swing. I totally get the idea and concept of the left handed release as a reaction to the body movements and "allowing" the release to happen through physics. However, what about the idea of also developing some coordination in the left arm for shots that occur in situations like uneven lies, hitting out of thick rough, etc.., where you can't really do a typical body driven swing where the release and swing can occur naturally? In other words, is there anything wrong with simultaneously learning how to passively release with the left side for your stand swing and also building left hand coordination at the same time for situations where you can't use the body as the primary driver? Or is that too confusing for the the learning process?

I'm already confused. The issue is the vast majority of time the release will be passive. In some circumstances you may need to add force/control depending on what variable you are dealing with (lie, weather, etc). But, those don't come often enough to need an independent, or completely different training regimen. Most of those will just bee setup adjustments and a little more pressure to control wrists.
