When doing the release drill, if I focus on or look at the club head or the ball, I tend to shank or miss hit. But if I focus on or look at my hands knuckles, the release is great. Will keeping my eyes on my hands instead of on the ball/club head hurt my setup and the swing as a whole?

Hello Kyaw. I don't think it will necessarily hurt anything. But, the objective is a clean/good ball strike. It may be just a way for you mind to focus on the move and let the ball get in the way.
