I'm in the boot camp and practicing the first session body movements. At post up is it correct to feel very compressed on the trail side with my ribs nearly touching my hip?

Hello Timothy. You may have too much secondary axis tilt. Should be comfortable with spine/ribs. Check that your lead shoulder isn't too high.
X2 what Craig said. Try to get the shoulders to feel and look as level as you can to the ground at impact!
