Craig, this text is probably too long for a review: What got me interested in.

Craig, this text is probably too long for a review: What got me interested in DeWiz ( https://dewizgolf.com/) was the idea of getting physical feedback, a buzz at the wrist, as a way of helping build feel. For example I know that I have a tendency to lift the arms at the top when swinging more feel based. But also for example to get direct in swing feedback when being to far under plane. I was also inspired by the book I wrote about last week, How we learn to move (https://www.amazon.com/How-We-Learn-Move-Revolution/dp/B09KDSQD9Q). The books mentions a different way to learn a motor skill, instead of having specific instructions of what to do, instead only the desired outcome is given. The example is fixing forearm fly out in pitching, where the outcome is that the connection ball should go towards the plate when flying out (as in this video https://youtu.be/mSK7PnKm6Hg). In this view the way the body “self organize” in order to perform a movement pattern. Learning a motor skill with self organization does of course not always lead to an optimal technique. The way to change motor skill in this view is not giving specific instructions, rather it is using “constraints” and let the body self organize. I would put Gforce club as a tool that gives “constraints”. I think the reasoning is similar to when you said that a junior could learn to swing correctly if given a Gforce club. But I can’t quite decide if I believe DeWiz is able to do it, basically because I think the measurements might be too indirect.

Hello Erik. I am still doing some reviewing of the product. I am concerned about the feedback because as you mentioned the measurements might be too indirect. Also, how much can just be cheated by the arms. For ex: one of the videos had a player trying to swing it short. It seems I could have faked a shorter swing without proper mechanics to not be in trouble with the device. However, it wouldn't have been a long lasting change because it was too feel based.
