For some reason I struggle with my lead foot position on the downswing.

For some reason I struggle with my lead foot position on the downswing. If I practice slowly I have no issue. As soon as I get to the top of my back swing my lead heel will lift and pivot inside leading to my toe pointing more towards the target, which obviously will be throwing off my entire swing. My question is, how do I avoid this. I practice it slowly and have no issue, but as soon as I do a full swing I can't seem to stop my foot from turning. Any ideas welcome :)

Hello Thomas. You may be overswinging/turning. When you start going faster you might have some run away of the body or arms. Try to get a better balance in the backswing by loading the correct muscles and staying in position. I would use a combination of Play the Best Golf of Your Life in 6 Weeks Video 1 of 6 and Winter Golf Training Program - Backswing. If you would like me to take a look you can always post it here.
