I thoroughly enjoyed the AXIOM Bootcamp Day 1 with Chris yesterday especially after he got over being so excited and got into his preso. To be honest I was a little apprehensive, after doing an AXIOM webinar in March this year, that there could be anything to add. First MAJOR critical point for me was his comment NOT TO OVER DO AXIS TILT.Looking in a mirror I see that when I overcooked it, excess axis tilt was pulling the lead shoulder knee and hip back . Never realised I was doing it ! Second MAJOR overwhelmingly critical point was pushing off the right foot to get off the Merry-Go Round . Like many I have always understood that pushing from any area of the right side was an absolute NO NO, which I feel prevented me from transferring weight sufficiently or correctly, because the right side was just not moving. Now after EXECUTING THE WAKING UP THE LOWER BODY and doing the reps, I can actually feel the transfer of weight into my left side !!!!!!! I expect ultimately that there will be a significant change in ball flight and distance with this swing correction. I am excited to see what gems Chris brings on Day 5.
