All, Good work by Chuck and team.

Hi All, Good work by Chuck and team. As stated before I am looking for help with release and looking for more club speed. My details :- Age 79. H/c 22 Play off Senior tee and driver distance approx 160(on good day,) My problem is left leg straight and 1/2 inch shorter than left. Have no bend or flexibility intros leg. Can only move knee by moving hip. Would love to see example of golfer rotating with these limitations in place. Can get round course with reasonable scores but have no real club head release and resulting speed. All comments appreciated. Dave Mc (Thailand).

Hello David. I don't have much examples I apologize and sorry to hear a bout your leg. Most of the speed in the golf swing will be delivered by the wrists. Hence, why lag will be where over 60% of your power comes from. Players with limited hip mobility need to prioritize leverage. I would assume you can get much more speed by making sure that is correct. Also, using a push release - Video - Overview of Push Release. You can involve more of your trail side to aid in the speed category. The 3 levers from your arm and right hip to help drive into impact.
