Rather than try to find a video clip on my own, I am asking Craig (the keeper of the vault). Craig: I believe I saw Chuck demonstrate/say that in the AXIOM you do NOT push off the right foot to get up on the toe (leave the merry-go-round) that instead it gets pulled on to its toe by the rotation of the left hip. However, in a comment in the Community I see someone saying that the highly skilled Chris Tyler told them they can use the right side to power getting onto their right toe. So, help me out: right foot gets pulled onto its toe by the motion created by clockwise pressure shift around it OR should we aspire to add a little push to make it happen?

Hello Tom. When using a fully lead side motion the trail foot will get pulled onto the toe. When using the clockwise pressure shift from Axiom you can add a little push from the toe to help clear the lead hip out of the way. So, a round about way of saying a little push is okay :).
