I can do the clamshell drill without a club with my butt bumping a wall.

I can do the clamshell drill without a club with my butt bumping a wall. However with the club I loose my tushline during the down swing (early extension): in the transition and post-up my left hip does not come as far back as my right hip was in the back swing. When I hit a ball it is even worse. How can I improve my practice swing and my real swing?

Hello Stefan. Are you overturning in the backswing making it more difficult? You may need to allow some more right foot aid to help turn the hips. Feeling left hip pull away as the right foot knee drive towards the left.
Hi Stefan I had that problem for over a year until I learned the Axiom movement which shifts the focus to the lower body. Also try to keep your arms gently engaged via the lats so that the lower body stays in control of the swing. Hope this helps. Diane
