Does the lower body/torso take the club back and through?

Hello does the lower body/torso take the club back and through? Should the feeling be that the arms are not active on either other than to hold the club? Meaning that one shouldn't consciously use them to take the club back, set the club and throughout the downswing or should the movement of the lower body and torso automatically set the club in position throughout the swing? Thank you Gary

You don't need a lot of active arm/hand movement. The wrists will set due to the weight of the club and you do have to add some elevation. But, most of the positions are biproducts of proper body sequencing. The legs and torso will bring the arm down and the only thing you have to do is stay relaxed enough to allow for the release of the club face.
